COVID-19: A message for our customers
Visiting the shop
To help us manage social distancing, it is not essential to book an appointment before visiting us., but should we have too many customers in the shop you may have to wait outside until a member of staff becomes available.
Immediately inside the shop we have a sanitisation station and freshly laundered face masks available for use, we urge customers to take advantage of these provisions during your visit to keep our staff and yourselves safe.
Arranging a measure
We are able to offer this service providing social distancing can be adhered to and areas are made clear for measuring. We ask that you inform us immediately if you or anyone in your household is suffering with any symptoms prior to your appointment.
Having your carpet fitting
Before any appointment, we will confirm that you, and any members of the household are well, that social distancing is possible during the fit and that both parties are comfortable to go ahead. You will be asked to vacate the room where the floor is being fitted, to open any internal doors along the journey to fitting and open windows where possible. Our fitting teams will have hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes and appropriate protective wear should they be required during the appointment.
As borrowing samples is a vital part of choosing your new flooring we have procedures in place to minimise the risk of contamination by quarantining any borrowed samples for the recommended 72 hours before returning them to our shop floor.
Trying out furniture
We understand that trying furniture is essential in the selection process and so have put procedures in place to make customers aware if items have been quarantined.
Whilst B & R are taking every precaution possible, we cannot make any guarantees.
In other areas
We have increased our cleaning rota to include regular cleaning of all areas.
