Wool Twist pile

Wool has a wonderful natural feel, it’s beautiful, tactile and luxurious. A wool carpet will provide superior performance for many years, as it offers unique resilience & long lasting durability.

It’s easy to keep clean and provides robust strength because its naturally springy, making it hard to flatten.

The overall appearance of a wool carpet therefore, will last, making it an excellent investment.

I am very impressed by the service I have received from your company. From selecting samples, to the fitting, everything has been swift well organised and to a good standard . Your fitters came today and not only fitted our carpet in record time but vacuumed as well.

Loop pile

In a loop pile carpet the yarn forms loops on the surface of the carpet, either in uniform height, creating a level loop pile, or with differing heights creating a textured loop pile.

Variations include a rustic tweed style loop known as a Berber which contains highlight flecks.

Wool loops are a popular alternative to coir and sisal matting because they have the added comfort, warmth and durability of natural wool.

Velvets

With Velvet carpets the pile surface has been sheared to give a beautiful smooth finish.

With very little twist in the yarn the ends blend together to further enhance the overall soft, plush and luxurious finish.

Patterned Carpet

We have an extensive choice of patterned carpets, ranging from bold and bright designs that make a statement, to more subtle and understated ones.

While carpet in neutral tones is often the enduring favourite, however a patterned carpet offers customers enormous practicality and longevity, also something a little different to the ordinary.

Wilton & Axminster

Unlike a Tufted carpet, the process of a woven carpet brings together the pile and backing yarns to form the woven cloth, offering unsurpassed strength and long lasting stability.

The Axminister name refers to the construction method of a type of woven carpet. This technique offers excellent pattern definition. Most Axminister carpets are patterned.

Synthetic

Made from synthetic fibres these carpets are relatively non-absorbent, tough and durable, but also soft and luxurious.

While it withstands footfall well, it is not as resilient as other fibres and over time may struggle to spring back when crushed.

However, one of the many benefits of synthetic carpets is the cleanability, Polypropylene carpets for example are stain resistant and can therefore be cleaned with bleach.
